Wow this year has been flying by. I’ve not updated this blog since the start of the year. Sorry to my neglected blog!
Since that 2026 opening post, our family portfolio has been growing slowly and steadily from S$540k to S$667k today (27 Sep). That’s purely invested value but if including cash is S$781k (from S$645k).
So, basically the portfolio is up around S$130k thereabouts but that includes monthly contributions of around S$6k.
I’ve not analysed the gains but I think most of it comes from our individual stocks because the portfolio is now a bit unbalanced (overweight stocks) although I did trim a chunk of index ETFs back in April.
As markets recover back close to their highs, I’ll probably look at rebalancing by trimming some stocks this time. Hopefully the portfolio can hit S$800k by end of the year.
Work has been busy since I changed job again this year in May. Hope as I settle in, I can get back to my blogging cadence.
